APS CO LAB Community Schools

The K Thru 8 Prototype Collaborative Community Schools for Albuquerque Public Schools were designed to create collaborative learning environments for student populations of 1,300. The George I. Sanchez Collaborative Community School is a 250,797 sq. ft. facility that features a cafeteria, gymnasium, classrooms, and administrative spaces. The Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative School is a 217,000 sq. ft. facility comprising of 74 classrooms with a shared gym, kitchen/cafeteria, and multimedia center. Both projects are LEED Gold^®.
